Dojo

Terms of Use

1. About these terms

These terms apply when you use Dojo on iPhone, Apple Watch or at withdojo.app. Dojo is run by Francisco Donadio ("we", "us"). By using Dojo, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you got Dojo from the App Store, Apple's standard licence terms for apps also apply.

2. What Dojo is

Dojo is a personal app to plan your training and log your workouts.

3. Not medical advice

Dojo does not give medical advice. Weight suggestions, one-rep max estimates, heart rate and calorie figures are estimates to help you train. They can be wrong and they are not a diagnosis or a treatment. Talk to a doctor before you start a new training programme, especially if you have a health condition or an injury. Stop training and get help if you feel pain, dizziness or shortness of breath.

4. Use at your own risk

Strength training carries a risk of injury. You decide what you lift and how. Use proper technique and equipment, and a spotter when needed. You are responsible for your own training.

5. Your account

Keep access to your email safe, because anyone who can open your sign-in emails can open your account. Tell us at privacy@withdojo.app if you think someone else is using it. You must be at least 13 to use Dojo.

6. Your data

Your training data is yours. You let us store and process it only to run Dojo for you, as the Privacy Policy explains.

7. Acceptable use

Do not misuse Dojo. For example, do not try to access other people's accounts or data, break or overload the service, get around its security, or use it for anything illegal.

8. Changes to Dojo

We may change, pause or stop Dojo, or any part of it, at any time. If we plan to shut down the service, we will try to tell you in advance. The iPhone and Watch apps keep your data on your devices.

9. No warranty

Dojo is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We do not promise that it will always be available, error-free, or that data will never be lost.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any injury, loss of data, or indirect or consequential damage that comes from using Dojo. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit.

11. Ending

You can stop using Dojo and delete your account at any time (see the Privacy Policy). We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Argentina. If you are a consumer, you keep any protections that the law of the country where you live gives you.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will change the effective date on this page and, for important changes, tell you in the app or by email before they apply. If you keep using Dojo after that, you accept the new terms.
